Frame.io is Adobe's creative review and collaboration platform, where video teams and their clients share media, leave frame-accurate feedback, and manage work from first cut to final delivery. It centralizes assets, comments, and approvals so everyone stays aligned as a project moves through production.

Frame.io and Swyft
The Frame.io + Swyft integration brings your review hub into every project. When a Swyft project kicks off, Swyft automatically builds its folder structure in Frame.io and generates a share link for the folders you choose — and you can browse the project's Frame.io files, folders, and review statuses right from the project's Files tab.

How This Integration Works
Authenticate your Frame.io account within Swyft's integration panel via Adobe IMS (OAuth 2.0) — one connection per workspace, managed by workspace admins.
Create reusable folder templates with dynamic tokens ({project}, {client}, {date}, and more), and mark which folders belong in the client share link. When a project starts, Swyft builds the folders in Frame.io and stores the share link on the project automatically. Existing projects can be linked to any folder in your Frame.io account at any time.
No code required — connect once and every new project is wired up.
Quick Setup
Step 1: Go to Settings → Integrations → Frame.io
Step 2: Click "Connect Frame.io" and sign in with your Adobe ID
Step 3: Review and approve the requested permissions
Step 4: Create your folder template — new projects will now create their Frame.io projects, folders, and share links automatically
Note: Swyft's Frame.io app is currently in early access. Before connecting, contact us and we'll add your Frame.io account to our access list — it only takes a minute.
Data Access & Permissions
The Frame.io V4 API authenticates through Adobe's Identity Management Service (IMS), Adobe's OAuth 2.0 identity platform. Swyft connects as an OAuth Web App (Authorization Code flow with refresh tokens) registered in the Adobe Developer Console with the Frame.io V4 API added, and requests the minimum scopes needed to run the integration.
