Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Swyft ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.
Account Registration
To use Swyft, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use Swyft only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You may not use the Service to distribute malware, infringe on intellectual property rights, harass other users, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service.
Your Content
You retain ownership of all content you create within Swyft, including projects, tasks, messages, files, and other data. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content as necessary to provide the Service. We will never claim ownership of your content.
Third-Party Integrations — Google API Services & Frame.io
Swyft integrates with third-party services, including Google Calendar and Frame.io (via Adobe), to provide enhanced functionality.
5.1 Google Integration
By connecting your Google account, you authorize Swyft to receive basic account information and the Google Calendar permissions shown during Google's consent process. Swyft currently stores your Google email address and OAuth connection details. Calendar synchronization preferences can be configured in Swyft, but Google Calendar synchronization is not currently active and Swyft does not currently retrieve or modify calendar data through the Google Calendar API. If your workspace uses team availability features, Swyft may query the free/busy availability of connected Google accounts so teammates can see when you are busy or free; this shows only busy/free time blocks, never event titles or details, and is visible only to members of your workspace. Swyft's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. You can review this policy at https://developers.google.com/terms/api-services-user-data-policy.
Key commitments regarding Google data:
• We access only the data necessary to provide and maintain the Google connection and enabled calendar features.
• We do not use Google data for advertising or any unrelated purpose.
• We do not sell or transfer Google data to third parties except as necessary to provide the Service.
• You may disconnect Google through your Swyft Profile integrations settings. This deletes the Google OAuth tokens stored by Swyft and stops further requests on your behalf. You may separately revoke Swyft's authorization through your Google Account permissions at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.
5.2 Frame.io Integration
By connecting your Adobe account, you authorize Swyft to access your Frame.io data (accounts, workspaces, projects, folders, assets, and review links) as described in our Privacy Policy. Swyft uses Frame.io data exclusively to:
• Automatically create and manage folder structures for your projects.
• Display a file browser within Swyft so you can view assets without leaving the platform.
• Generate review links for client feedback.
• In the future, support direct file uploads and comment management.
Key commitments regarding Frame.io data:
• We access only the data and scopes necessary to provide the features you use.
• We do not use Frame.io data for advertising, analytics, or any unrelated purpose.
• We do not sell or transfer Frame.io data to third parties.
• OAuth tokens are stored securely, refreshed automatically, and deleted immediately upon disconnection.
• You may revoke Frame.io access at any time through Swyft Settings → Integrations or through your Adobe account at https://account.adobe.com/connected-applications.
Subscription & Billing
Swyft offers both free and paid plans. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly per user. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and your access will continue until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are not provided for partial months of service.
Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We may perform scheduled maintenance with advance notice. We are not liable for any downtime or data loss resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Swyft and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may export your data before termination. We will retain your data for 30 days after account deletion unless otherwise required by law. When your account is deleted, stored third-party integration tokens are deleted and Swyft attempts to revoke those tokens with the applicable provider. Provider revocation is not guaranteed if the provider is unavailable or a token is already invalid.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the Service. Your continued use of Swyft after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
If you have any questions about these Terms, please contact us at hello@workswyft.com.
