Privacy Policy

At Swyft, we take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have regarding your data.

Privacy Policy

At Swyft, we take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have regarding your data.

  1. Information We Collect

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and profile information. When you use Swyft, we collect data about your projects, tasks, time entries, messages, and other content you create within the platform. We also collect usage data such as browser type, device information, and interaction patterns to improve our service.

  1. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide, maintain, and improve Swyft. This includes powering features like project management, team collaboration, time tracking, and resource scheduling. We may also use aggregated, anonymized data to understand usage trends and improve the product. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

  1. Google User Data

When you connect your Google account to Swyft, we access certain data from Google services to provide integrated features within the platform. This section describes what data we access, how we use it, and how we protect it.

3.1 Data We Access

With your explicit consent, Swyft requests permission to access Google Calendar information, including calendar names and metadata, event details, availability information, and calendar settings such as time zone, and to create, update, or delete calendar events. During connection, Google also provides basic account information. Swyft currently stores your Google email address to identify the connected account, along with the OAuth tokens, granted permissions, and token expiration needed to maintain the connection. Swyft does not currently import or store Google Calendar event data.

3.2 How We Use Google Data

We use your Google email address to identify the account you connected and use stored OAuth tokens to maintain that connection. Swyft stores your calendar synchronization preferences, but Google Calendar synchronization is not currently active and Swyft does not currently retrieve or modify calendar data through the Google Calendar API. We do not use Google user data for advertising, market research, or any purpose unrelated to providing the Swyft service.

3.3 Google Limited Use Disclosure

Swyft's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:

• We only use Google data to provide or improve user-facing features that are prominent in the application's user interface.
• We do not transfer Google data to third parties unless necessary to provide or improve the service, to comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger/acquisition with adequate data protection.
• We do not use Google data for serving advertisements, including retargeting or personalized advertising.
• We do not allow humans to read Google user data unless we have your affirmative agreement, it is necessary for security purposes, to comply with applicable law, or our use is limited to internal operations with aggregated and anonymized data.

3.4 Token Storage & Security

When you connect your Google account, we securely store OAuth tokens (access and refresh tokens) in a secure database with strict access controls that limit access to authorized systems only. These tokens are used solely to maintain your connection and make authorized API requests on your behalf. Tokens are transmitted only over secure (TLS) connections. We never store your Google password.

3.5 Teammate Availability

To support team scheduling and resource planning, Swyft may query the free/busy availability of the Google accounts connected by members of your workspace. This shows only when a teammate is busy or free — never event titles, descriptions, attendees, or any other event details. Availability information is visible only to members of the same workspace, and only for teammates who have connected their Google account. You can stop sharing your availability at any time by disconnecting your Google account (see section 3.6).

3.6 Revoking Google Access

You can disconnect your Google account from Swyft at any time through your Profile integrations settings. Disconnecting deletes the OAuth tokens stored by Swyft and stops Swyft from making further requests to Google on your behalf. To revoke Swyft's authorization at Google, remove Swyft from your Google Account permissions at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions. When you delete your Swyft account, we delete stored Google tokens and also attempt to revoke them with Google.

  1. Frame.io (Adobe) Data

When you connect your Frame.io account (via Adobe ID) to Swyft, we access certain data from Frame.io to provide integrated asset management features within the platform. This section describes what data we access, how we use it, and how we protect it.

4.1 Data We Access

With your explicit consent, Swyft may access the following Frame.io data:

• Account & Workspace information: Account IDs, workspace names, and team metadata — to identify your Frame.io organization.
• Projects: Project names, IDs, and root folder references — to map Swyft projects to Frame.io projects.
• Assets & Folders: Folder structures, file metadata (names, sizes, types, thumbnails, upload dates), and comment/annotation counts — to display a file browser within Swyft and automate folder creation.
• Review Links: The ability to create review links for folders — to generate shareable client review URLs directly from Swyft.

4.2 How We Use Frame.io Data

We use Frame.io data solely to provide and improve the integrated features you have requested within Swyft. Specifically:

• Account and project data is used to match Swyft projects to their corresponding Frame.io projects and create new Frame.io projects when needed.
• Folder and asset data is used to display an in-app file browser, letting you view your Frame.io assets without leaving Swyft.
• Folder templates are used to automatically create standardized folder structures in Frame.io when new Swyft projects are created.
• Review link creation is used to generate shareable links for client feedback.

We do not use Frame.io data for advertising, market research, or any purpose unrelated to providing the Swyft service.

4.3 Planned Future Uses

We plan to expand the Frame.io integration to include:

• Uploading files to Frame.io directly from within Swyft.
• Viewing and managing comments and annotations left on Frame.io assets.
• Syncing review status labels between Frame.io and Swyft task statuses.

These future features will continue to use only the data and permissions you have already authorized and will not require additional account access beyond the scopes described in this policy.

4.4 Token Storage & Security

When you connect your Adobe/Frame.io account, we securely store OAuth tokens (access and refresh tokens) in a secure database with strict access controls that limit access to authorized systems only. These tokens are used solely to maintain your connection and make authorized API requests on your behalf. Tokens are automatically refreshed before expiration and transmitted only over secure (TLS) connections. We never store your Adobe password.

4.5 Revoking Frame.io Access

You can disconnect your Frame.io account from Swyft at any time through Settings → Integrations within the application. When you disconnect, we immediately delete your stored OAuth tokens and cease all access to your Frame.io data. You can also revoke Swyft's access directly from your Adobe account at https://account.adobe.com/connected-applications.

  1. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure servers protected by strict access controls. We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), regular security reviews, and access controls. Your workspace data is isolated from other customers and only accessible by authorized members of your workspace.

  1. Data Sharing

We only share your data with third-party service providers who help us operate Swyft (e.g., hosting, email delivery, payment processing). These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, Google user data, or Frame.io data to any third party.

  1. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You can export your project data from within Swyft. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal purposes. You also have the right to revoke any third-party integrations (including Google and Frame.io) at any time.

  1. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. Analytics cookies are used only to understand how Swyft is used and to improve the product.

  1. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify you via email or through a notice within the app. Your continued use of Swyft after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
